Hi all,

We actually have a mix of VMWare, Xen (Xen & XCP) and physical servers.
Is there any migration process to port some or all of them to Nimbula ?

The next version of Nimbula Director supports Vmware ESX.
We don't have migration process at the moment. If you are looking for some migration features, please do let us know.

Hi Patrick,

In terms of migration, we have ways to convert your existing images from other hypervisors to KVM. (used by Nimbula Director)

In regards to importing VMware Windows virtual machines, we have information here:

We also recommend using qemu-img program to convert images from other formats, like VMware and XEN.

What are the guest operating systems that you plan to virtualize?
